Hearing of several recent deliveries in CT Enfield has a new Pierce Rescue. Danbury has 2 new engines also from Pierce. New London has a Seagrave Tiller to check out. So get out there take a road trip and do some shooting!
CT Fire-EMS Forums is starting to gain some steam and it sure seems like a good place for info on all aspects of firefighting and buffing.

The CT Fire
Museum has just released a book about the Springfield (MA) Fire
Department. Bert and Nancy Johanson complied the history from the archives
of the Connecticut Fire Museum, the Connecticut Valley Historical Society
and from descendents of Noah Pooler, who served as a captain on the
Springfield Fire Department. They were also assisted by Fred Rodriguez, a
29 year veteran of the department. Books will be available from the CTM
gift shop.

In 2005 the CFPA donated funds to purchase a memorial brick to help
makes up the Hartford Circus Fire Memorial. The memorial
commemorates the deadly fire that destroyed the Ringling Brothers big
top in Hartford on July 6th, 1944.
